US Sand Sculpting Challenge | September 2 – 5, 2016
Thousands of people from all over the country have come each year to see the master-class sculptors build beautiful 3-dimensional works of art. 11 master sculptors will carve “sand castles” for 4 days and 9 teams of 3 professional carvers will carve for 2 days. The event will also feature live entertainment, rides for kids, food trucks and cannon battles.

Join the Barona band of Mission Indians for a weekend full of culture, contest dancing, camping, drums, and cultural immersion. The event is free and appropriate for all ages.

SeaWorld’s summer celebrations are in full swing as the park transforms after dark with extended summer hours and live entertainment, seasonal nighttime only shows, and fireworks. Julian Grape Stomp Festa | September 3, 2016
Every September the city of Julian celebrates the harvest of the grapes with a real, grape stomp and Festa at the Menghini Winery. The festival provides two barrels for stomping, one for adults and the other for children. The event includes Italian music, dancing, stomping, wine tasting, and more.
